The owners of Wasatch Gymnastics, Joshua and Rose, met in college when they were both only 19 years old at the Art Institute right out of high school. They fell deeply in love and have been married for 14 years, together for 17 years overall! They have four wonderful sons together, 2 who are members of their Boys Gymnastics team ( the middle 2 sons Nico and Ever)! Their oldest son (Armani) enjoys parkour and tricking, creating art, animation, and film. Their youngest toddler (Phoenix) loves their gym so much he took his very first steps there! Both owners, having come from entrepreneurial family's, had often discussed and dreamed of opening a business together one day. Fast forward through time of well spent planning and courage, that wish has certainly come true for them!
 

Joshua started gymnastics at the age of 4 and competed in the USAG Future Stars Program. He started coaching at the age of 14 and has been coaching Tumbling, Artistic Gymnastics, and Parkour ever since. Joshua has been involved in Capoeira, Martial Arts Tricking, Parkour, Break Dancing, Tumbling, & Artistic Gymnastics for the last 18 years. He has a passion for coaching and a talent for leveling up students to their fullest potential! Joshua has a very patient and individualized coaching approach with a deep well of wisdom that is uniquely catered for each student he trains! Joshua was a cheerleader at one point, and excels in tumbling/floor! He has experience coaching in not only Utah but also California (where his wife Rose is from and their 2 oldest children were born)! This has shaped his training in a very impactful way as it helped bring fresh ideas with very progressive flare! Joshua is the head coach for both Team Girls and Team Boys! He coaches private lessons to students who need to progress their skills in dance, cheer, drill, snowboarding and skiing (preparing flips), and more! His personal talent in the sport is displayed frequently as he often demonstrates the skills he is coaching, rather than merely speaking commands. Joshua is a Utah native, born in Sandy! He is proud to provide a piece of his respective talent in his home state. His main priority and focus at their gym is in coaching of all kinds, especially their team boys and team girls! Joshua also offers one hour long instructed lessons for their open gym style hosted birthday parties, mainly on the weekends. Joshua's entire focus in their business is to provide high quality coaching! Their family of 6 is often at their gym throughout the day/week! Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife and four sons, playing video games (Dota2 is his favorite!), playing guitar, and learning Spanish when there are very rare windows of time between coaching! He spends most waking hours of the day and 7 days a week instructing students to meet their highest potential.

 

Lifelong and legal business partner of Joshua is his wife Rose, who brings all of the artistry to Wasatch Gymnastics! Rose is a professional graphic designer and muralist with past clients such as: The University of Utah, The Marriot Hotel, Avalon Health Care, Moran Eye Center, Hyatt Place, Loma Linda University Medical Center, Huntsman Cancer Institute, and many more including various works for Heber Utah businesses: she has created design work in the past for The Rec Center (where she was the art teacher during the time Josh was a coach there, they'd often share students), Tumble Central (she advertised for their gym as well as the Parkour Program that her and Josh originally started there), Global Grill (all of their branding, logo, menus, signage, before they moved), and various other local businesses/clients in the valley! Rose has provided designs for other gymnastics gyms in Utah in addition to their own: awards banners, laser engraved and custom acrylic or wooden cut out medals, logo upgrades, and beyond)! She has an extensive portfolio expanding past various states in America and even out of the country. Her entire focus now is for their gym, where she is the sole creator of all of Wasatch Gymnastics branding, marketing, social media, merchandise design, digital, and printed interior/exterior signage: She designs the custom leotards for their Team girls and boys, and hand sublimates many of the items herself. Rose designs all of the advertising inside and outside of the gym (both digital & printed) such as custom QR codes that she herself sublimates on metal or wood with an industrial heat press. Rose also designs custom themed birthday banners for their hosted parties. She laser engraves their Wasatch Gymnastics business cards herself with her 55w co2 laser, and creates custom vinyl cut outs for their business (such as the exterior logo-cutout that you see on the glass front door of the gym)! She graphic designs all of the gym's flyers, does all of the official team/rec photography for the advertising, and produces all of the video editing as well as music editing: choosing and compiling custom music for all of their bronze, silver, and some platinum team girls competition floor audio with added custom overlayed sound effects and creating unique custom song mash ups! She is the artist who is custom painting the large mural artwork inside of Wasatch Gymnastics! Rose works on their business mostly from their home office, but soon will be working in house at the back of their gym in the new "creative space" that is currently under construction! This will provide a workshop for her to continue working for their gym projects and designs as well as offer students & parents creative art classes and personalized craft kits! Coming soon!

 

Both Joshua and Rose respond to emails and texts and help their customers! This loving couple has very intentionally come together with a shared vision combining their unique talents and passions to bring Heber Utah a space that parents and students alike can truly feel welcome in and inspired by!
